Traveling south on I-15 North take the E. University Parkway Exit. Merge to N. University Avenue, Turn East on Bulldog Blvd. Traveling north on I-15 South take the 820 N. Exit. Go east, turn North on University Avenue. Turn East on Bulldog Blvd. The conference will be held in the Wilkinson Student Center on the east side of campus. Some classes will be held in the Joseph F Smith Building (Sewing and Foods labs)

Joyce B. Miles, CFCS In celebration of the AAFCS Centennial, Joyce Miles is talking about the history of family and consumer sciences to audiences across the country by telling the remarkable story of Ellen Swallow Richards (1842-1911), a pioneering visionary in this field. Miles brings to life this progressive woman whose achievements a century ago seem surprisingly contemporary—nutrition education, water-quality testing, and promoting science education for women, to name just a few.
