STRANDS
In addition to general sessions, breakout strands for each of the following curricular areas will be available: Health Science
(Medical Anatomy/Physiology, Medical Terminology, Introduction to Health Science, and Advanced Health Science), Exercise
Science/Sports Medicine (including Introduction to Emergency Medical Services), Nurse Assisting, Medical Assisting, and
Dental Assisting. It is important to note that Biotechnology will hold a separate stand-alone summer workshop. For
Biotechnology, please register using this process, but for more detailed information check with Thalea Longhurst (801-538-
7889 or thalea.longhurst@schools.utah.gov). Biotech workshop dates may be different.
CONFERENCE DRESS
Dress for the conference is casual. Remember to DRESS IN LAYERS to maximize your comfort.
HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS
A block of rooms is being held at the Comfort Inn, Layton at the rate of $65 (single or double) plus tax per night. This rate
includes a complimentary continental breakfast. These rooms will be held until June 1, 2009. After this date, there is no
guarantee of availability or this rate. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MAKING YOUR OWN ROOM RESERVATIONS.
